Chromebook Scheme

Technology to support Learning

Wildern Trust launched the Chromebook scheme at Wildern School in 2017.  By harnessing technology we open up a wealth of opportunities to improve our students’ learning experience, whilst better preparing them for a future in a modern world. We wanted to empower students to take control of their learning and to work in a more individual and personalised way.  Through the past 5 years of the scheme, we have witnessed how our students find engaging and successful learning tools helping them to become well-informed, responsible digital citizens and lifelong learners.  Furthermore, we have seen how students learn to explore and produce work in new and engaging ways embracing creativity both in school and out.

This scheme is non-profit making for the Wildern Trust and is managed through Edutech Zone and BeLF.  There is no financial gain to Wildern Trust from this scheme and we have worked with a number of hardware suppliers to negotiate favourable prices on a range of Chromebooks.

Please see the information booklet link below for more information about the scheme, devices on offer and contact details.
